Hi, Tom and I just wanted to say thank you for helping us find a new home.

We are starting to settle in and get stuff put away. We are happy with the move and want to give you a small gift to show our appreciation.

In March 2016 my mother passed away.

At the time of her deah my mother lived in Simi Valley, CA. In addition to my mother's passing I have significant health issues that made it difficult for me to deal with her estate. My mother's most significant asset was a home on a very large lot in Simi Valley, CA. Good friends of mine, who had also recently had a loved one pass, referred me to Lance advising that he had worked hard and done an excellent job for them in selling their loved ones property. As the representative of my mother's estate I hired Lance to act as my Realtor in the sale of my mother's property. To say that Lance worked hard and diligently on behalf of my family is an understatement. My mother's home needed significant work to prepare it for the marketplace. Lance not only assisted in finding and arranging for the workmen necessary to clean up and repair the home and property but he also rolled up his sleeves and worked on this project himself. After the work was completed Lance then worked quickly and diligently to find an acceptable buyer. The sale of the home then closed without problem.Without reservation I highly recommend Mr. Lance Court to anyone in need of real estate services.

Thank you for your recent handling of the real estate needs of a close family friend.

Since this friend lives out of state and is in poor health I especially appreciated your close personal attention given to the detailed tasks that were needed to prepare the property for sale. His final comments to me after the sale were "Lance was awesome! Thanks for referring him." I was not hesitant to refer our friend because of the experience of working with you on two of our own real estate transactions. In both earlier cases your professionalism and calm in the midst of perceived crises was reassuring. Your knowledge of competant and reasonable contractors needed for fixes to help get our property sold, was surprising. My wife and I soon came to realize that you "have a guy" for just about any home repair. You can be assured that the next time I am in need of a realtor you will be "The Man" for the job.

Toward the second half of 2019, I contacted Mr.

Lance Court of Progressive Real Estate Services to represent me as a SELLER of a house in Moorpark, Ca. This was my home for nearly 30 years, and I wanted to deal with someone who understood the Simi Valley and Moorpark markets, could help me ready the home for sale and, more importantly, get top dollar! Lance also realized that I, having been the homeowner for more than three decades, had an enormous emotional investment—that its sale was more than just moving a property. In other words, more than a little handholding would likely be needed. It has been more than thirty years since I bought or sold a home and I had a lot to learn! The house needed a major overhaul to bring it up to today’s standard for move-in-ready homes. It basically needed everything done (or redone) to make it attractive and competitive. This is where Lance really shined. There is a fine balance between making needed improvements to add to its salability and spending money the seller could never recover. Lance’s extensive experience as both a realtor and broker perfectly lent itself to finding that balance. When a plan of action was agreed upon, Mr. Court’s Rolodex was chockfull of contractors and repair people to bid on and perform the work needed. He always obtained competitive quotes and recommended those his experience taught him would do the best work and give us our best return on investment. I will never forget the amount of time Lance spent on my behalf. He met with contractors, let workers into the home, checked on their work many dozens of times over the several months it took to get the house ready. Lance repeatedly assumed the role of “Project Manager” over the many different companies hired—a roll for which he was neither hired nor paid! Many times I told Mr. Court I would drive out to the house for a meeting and he’d say, “I got it! Happy to do it! That’s what I’m here for!” Amazing. Once all the work was complete, it was time to list the house—again a task requiring a balanced approach. Ask for too much and nobody will call. Ask for too little and you give up money you earned over three decades of mortgage payments and all the hard work invested into getting everything just right. Lance did an extensive analysis of competitive homes and their selling prices in the neighborhood and surrounding area. The number he chose was about what I was hoping to get yet the listing drew immediate attention. Again, it was his experience that paid off as he was able to negotiate a cash offer to $15,000 above our listing price. I can distill my experience with Lance into one short description. He was truly a “Full-Service Representative.” He represented my interests from day one, through the remodeling needed, to signing the closing documents.Perhaps the frosting on top was Lance the person—pleasant, personable, always upbeat and simply one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Without a single qualification I can recommend Lance Court for all your real estate needs.
